General Information

I pride myself in creating a highly structured atmosphere where student expectations are achieved in a nurturing and safe environment while instilling a high quality of work ethic and personal discipline within each individual student. My strongly active studio enrolls students who have successfully seated in district and state honor ensembles, have won local & national concerto competitions, and have been accepted into prestigious festivals including Tanglewood and Interlochen. In Tampa Bay, I have the highest success rate of students selected for the FMEA All State ensembles each year.

Private lessons take place once a week and are 60-minutes. Lessons are scheduled on a month-to-month basis. I will reach out to families just before the start of a month to work around your schedule. I do my best when scheduling to accommodate sports schedules, other siblings, family events, work, etc.

Private lessons have helped my son to advance technically and musically. He is able to explore a range of instrument specific repertoire, work on sight reading skills, play more advanced technical and lyrical pieces, and develop a sense of musicality specific to his instrument.

Tony has been a special mentor and role model to my child, on both a personal and professional level. He has helped him prepare for auditions, many of which have led to successful solo competitions, in addition to successful placement in ensembles outside of school and in summer music programs.

We are very lucky to have an instructor who is at the top of his field in Tampa Bay. Tony is a true professional, and in addition to being a teacher, plays professionally throughout Florida. Music lessons and learning from Tony have been one of the most important formative experiences for my child.
